There are four types of linear stepper motors: external drive linear stepper motors (including lead screw and ball screw), straight shaft linear stepper motors, push rod linear stepper motors, and permanent magnet linear stepper motors.

External T-type Linear Stepper Motor

The screw of the external t-type linear stepper motor is integrated with the motor rotor. When the screw rotates and the nut is fixed by an external device to prevent rotation, the nut moves linearly along the screw. Besfoc provides five different base sizes, ranging from NEMA8-NEMA3.
External Ball Screw Linear Stepper Motor

External ball screw linear stepper motor, the screw and motor rotor are integrated into one as the motor output shaft. When the motor rotates, the nut moves linearly along the screw. Various motor lengths, screw leads, and screw strokes are provided for customers to choose freely.
Non-Captive Linear Stepper Motor

Non-captive linear stepper motor, the nut and motor rotor are integrated into one body, and the screw shaft passes through the center of the motor rotor. When in use, fix the screw and prevent rotation. When the rotor rotates after the motor is powered on, the motor will move linearly along the screw. It provides various base sizes such as NEMA8, 11, 14, 17 and 23. Various body lengths and rich screw diameters and leads can be freely selected.
Captive Linear Stepper Motor

The nut of the captive linear stepper motor is integrated with the motor rotor, and the screw shaft passes through the nut in the center of the motor rotor. The screw shaft drives a plunger forward and backward. The plunger is supported by the guide bush on the motor. This structure allows the rotating shaft (plunger) to move forward and backward independently. No separate auxiliary action is required on the screw or nut. Provides NEMA8, 11, 17 and 23 base sizes, various body lengths and a wide range of screw diameters and leads to choose from.
